The regional Kerala festival Onam and the Worldwide celebration of Christmas and the local celebration of K.E Family Day are the three great festivals celebrated in the school  every year.

Special guests are invited on these occasions to give messages at these celebrations. Students perform various cultural programmes appropriate to the celebrations.

Onam is celebrated in such a way that the students get an idea of the traditional Kerala festivities and the traditional values of our ancient Kerala culture.

Christmas is celebrated as a celebration of God’s love for man and man’s love for each other and as an expression of gratitude  to God and to each other for the blessings received.

Family Day is celebrated along with the Christmas celebrations. The parents, teachers, students and the management of the school  get together, celebrate and enjoy their being united in love as one family at the Christmas celebration.

Students celebrate also other festivals such as Republic Day, Independence Day, Teacher’s Day, Children’s Day etc. with enthusiasm. A farewell party is organized for the outgoing students by the students of Std. XI.

The school conducts an All Kerala Interschool Tournament for Basketball and Volleyball in the month of September/October. All the important school teams of Kerala participate in the tournament. Participating teams are given T.A & D.A from the school and the Winning Teams are given cash prizes. This is a major sports event of the school.
