The schools are owned and run by the Fathers of the CMI Province of Trivandrum through a registered Trust. The President of the Trust, the Provincial of the CMI Province of Trivandrum, is the ex officio manager of the schools. But the day-to-day management of the school is carried out by the superior of the Kuriakose Elias Residence, who is the local manager in charge of the school.

The major developmental schemes of the schools are planned and executed in consultation with the Managing Board of the school.
 
It is essential  for any good educational institution to have knowledgeble, competent and experienced members on the faculty. The management of the school has been very keen to select excellent teachers and to provide them opportunities to update the methodology and content of their teaching
  Admission

Although the school is a Catholic minority institution, the school admits students of all castes and creeds, without any discrimination.  However, students are selected on merit basis, provided that they have a certificate of good conduct from the institution last attended.

Students are generally admitted to L.K.G., standard I, V and XI.  Admissions are also given to other classes according to the availability of seats. Application  forms, are available at the office or at the website of the school.

Admission to L KG classes begins at the end of December (of the previous academic year), and to the other classes by the end of April. Students seeking admissions to Kindergarten or L P section should produce the original birth certificate at the time of admission.

The Principal reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidates without  assigning  reasons for his action.

The duly  filled application forms for the Higher Secondary Course must be submitted to the office together with attested copies of the certificates to prove the age and qualification on or before the last date published on the school notice board.

Candidates provisionally selected for Higher Secondary Course will be required to appear for an interview with the Principal on a specified date, accompanied by his/her guardian. At that time they must produce the documents listed below:

Those who seek admission to the boarding houses should apply for it in the prescribed form available at the school office.  The Prinicpal reserves the right to grant or refuse any application for admission.

An objective report about the student’s health, family atmosphere, previous school life etc. must be intimated to the Rector/Warden at the time of admission.
  Promotion
 
Promotion of the students is based upon the general progress during the academic year. Attendance is also a major criterion for promotion. Those students who do not secure at least an overall E grade in the annual exams and have less than 75% attendance shall not be promoted to the next class.
 
The school fee is collected in ten instalments. Special fees for the year are collected along with the first instalment, before the reopening of the school. The other instalments are remitted at the office before the 10th of every month; defaulters shall give a fine of   Rs. 25 after the due date and Rs.50 after the month for each month. If the 10th of a month is a holiday, the next working day will be the last day for fee collections without fine.
The tuition fee collected commensurates with the salary paid to the staff and the special fees commensurate with the facilities offered to the students at the school.
